Curo Systems Adds New Vice President of Sales & Marketing

New executive talent is tapped to meet company growth.

CONCORD, MA - October 22, 2001: Curo Systems, Inc., a leading provider of compliance technology, announced today that Peter Chapman has joined the company as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.  In his role, Peter will assume all day-to-day operational responsibilities for sales, marketing and business development.

Earlier, Peter was an Executive Vice President, in charge of compliance products at National Regulatory Services, a division of Thomson Financial.  Over 40 percent of mutual fund industry uses Thomson's compliance products to meet their regulatory requirements.  And in the Broker/Dealer area, National Regulatory Services supports over 19,000 individual brokers for their compliance needs.  During Peter's tenure, he started the compliance outsourcing group which now supports many of the largest mutual fund complexes such as Fidelity Investments, Scudder/Deutsche Asset Management, American Century, etc.

Prior to Thomson, Peter was the founder of Boston Compliance Systems, Inc. and its flagship product BlueSky Solution.  The software helps mutual fund companies comply with BlueSky state laws.

Peter has extensive experience in software product development, with over 25 years in the business.  Peter's experience spans from the early 1980s, where he worked on the first personal computer based trading system at Investor's Micro to years later, at Fidelity where he worked on the Fund Manager's Workstation products.

Peter is well known in the financial services industry as well as by state and federal regulators for developing state-of-the-art compliance products.  We are delighted to welcome Peter to Curo Systems; his experience will be a great asset for our customers.
